This store is a modern tech disaster. Not only is it confusing on how to enter, you are charged 25 dollar hold with no receipt. After 30 minutes of exiting you may or may not receive the correct charge on card. There’s a major trip hazard on floor as you leave. And no directions on how to leave. The waving hand function doesn’t work and had to be operated by an attendee. This store is terrible; absolute disaster of a place. And the “skip checkout” advert is in no way faster.

This is all I bought from this store. Seemed like a really cool idea. I understand that the $25 charge is pending but I still have not received a valid receipt. Any insight here?

Theoretically, the concept of not having to walk through Register makes sense and it’s really cool and convenient.

However, it was an uncomfortable experience wondering if the temporary deposit of $25 would be drop automatically and then billed the correct amount. Luckily for me, the deposit was dropped automatically and charged accurately for my drink.

Recommendation: The store should be required to post sign on the door letting customer know upfront about the temporary $25 upfront charge to their credit card before walking-in. They should also should also post sign with the stores phone number where to call directly in the event a customer is charge amount. Personally I wouldn’t feel comfortable visiting the store again unless I knew where to call if anything is wrong.

$25 to enter the store! There are NO signs that indicate that you will be charged that amount just to come into the store. Signs lead you to believe they have a smart system which will only charge you what you select through video monitoring. It doesn’t even charge you what you select, which I selected a cold bottled coffee that would be no more than $6 at any other store in this airport. This store is predatory and should be banned from all airports.

I try to enter the store. “Do not push gate open” , theres no other feasible way to enter other than scanning your card that is easily looked over. There is a giant gap in the gate so I confusingly enter anyways. I ask where to check out. “It will charge your card” Some guy says. “My card?” “Yes you need a credit to entrr” “Credit card?” “You dont have a credit card? Howd you get it?” …Thru the giant gap in the gate sir.
“Im putting these back until you bring a card in”
I leave and enter in with my card. Then you exit. I ask how it knows to charge my card. “Scan the QR code you will receipt. in 2-3 hours”.. Is this a joke? Dumb business model. Lots of other ways to prevent theft than this ridiculous set up.

I would also like to add the 70 cameras every square foot inch quote the dystopian touch.

I just checked my credit card bill and I was ripped off. I put in my credit card, enter the store, took a Coke zero priced at $3.50 and left. My credit card was charged for $25. Avoid this place. It is an obvious Scam trap
